On this CD you
can find
6 logical games in one package:
Balda, Corners, Flip-Flop, Netwalk, Nine and Vitamin. |
Balda |
Balda is a computer analog of well known board game. The rules are
very simple. Initial five-letter long word fills the middle row of the game field
measuring 5x5 cells. This word is proposed by the computer in the random order. In your
turn, you must choose a new word consisting of letters located on the game field, plus one
new letter. Computer player does the same operations in its turn. The longer proposed word
is, the higher score you get. The game is over when there are no more free cells on the
game field. If you have no ideas how to make your next turn you may pass it. In the case
when computer can not recognize your proposed word you may add this word into the game
dictionary. If you make a mistake you can undo it. Detailed artwork, excellent animation
and funny music are also highlights of this product. Animated icons make the game control obvious even for a child. The game can
improve your analytical thinking and expands your vocabulary. We hope the game helps you
to have a good time.

Flip-Flop |
When you see Flip-Flop for the first time, your
initial thought is inevitably the same: a game that looks that simple surely cannot be of
any difficulty to solve. When you've played Flip-Flop for several minutes, your impression
is, again, the same: it is impossible! The game must be tricking you in some way! Your
task is so easy that it seems a child could do it. Open all of sixteen windows placed in a
four-by-four square grid. That's all. However, achieving this simple goal can take hours.
Many hours, until you master the small trick of the game. And when you've done it, your
friends can be lured into Flip-Flop as well. Their surprised faces should give
you a very nice satisfaction, because now you know the trick and they do not.

Netwalk |
Have you ever wondered what's up with the
computer puzzle game industry today? Does it seem to you that modern products have more of
graphic-and-sound extravaganza that of actual substance? Do you still remember those
addictive mind-benders that were so easy to learn and so hard to master? If the answer to
any of these is 'yes', Netwalk may be just the game you are looking for. The game's task
is easy - connect each computer on the grid field to the central server by adjusting and
turning the network pieces scattered around. It looks very familiar to those who used to
play Pipe Dreams, but it behaves very different. What is in this game? Extremely easy
rules, simple logic, endless millions of possible combinations. Absolute freedom for the
player. What is NOT in the game? Ridiculous hardware requirements, endless FMV scenes, forced storyline, bad acting. All factors detracting from
the classic puzzle-solving fun. After all the latest high-priced multi-CD FMV
monstrosities, Netwalk's simplicity is really refreshing.

Nine |
How to play: There are 3 partners playing, one
human and two computer "partners". All 36 playing cards get mixed and 12 cards
are dealt to each player. The playing table is covered by 36 green rectangles. These are
locations where the cards should be placed according to the suits and nominal. The players
make their moves clockwise, one by one. In one move, you can put one of your cards on the
table, next to a matching card. For example, a king of diamonds can be placed next to a
queen of diamonds or to a king of hearts. Nines are put on the table first, regardless of
any rules. If you cannot put any card on the table, you should pay fine to the bank and pass. Before each turn, the players donate one coin
each into the bank. The whole bank is taken by a player who rids of all his cards before
other players can. The ultimate goal of each player is to win as much money as possible.
