Why DISCo Commander is better than Norton95 for Windows?
- DISCo Commander is quicker
- It is less demanding to hardware resources
- DISCo Commander has it's own Dos-Shell mode for DOS-programs
- after the completion the result window fits to the size of parent window
- It has the built-in viewer with Clipboard support (in
particular, it is possible to select the necessary area, clicking the right mouse button
in viewing (F3) mode)
- It has the possibility to verify disk writing (which is
particularly important for floppy-disks)
- Excluding of extra reading/writing while repeated copying
(when the name, date and the size of files are identical)
- The price is essentially lower
What is absent in DISCo Commander: DISCo Commander has
not some Norton Commander functions (the list below). There are special applications for
this functions and we advise to use them.
