Basic features:
- The Pump may work independently either at day or at night, when the telephone is
unnecessary and discount provider rate is available. You may launch a program from a
command line. DISCo Pump will connect a site, carry out and complete the task
automatically
- In advance or directly during the work you can point out what to load in the first place
and what branch of tree to ignore
- While loading pages the program is building and displaying the map of pages being read,
moreover in two variants at once: file structure like the common "catalog tree"
and "document tree" where all references and logical structure of the page are
shown
- Directly while pumping it is possible to display the chosen page using your favorite
browser just by ckicking to its icon in the tree
- You specify the pages to load from the given site once, and while the next connection to
the same site the program will pump only the new information
- If Internet connection has been accidentally broken, DISCo Pump renews it from
the exact disconnection point automatically
System requirements:
DISCo Pump works under Windows 95 and Windows NT (of course your computer should be
connected to Internet). DISCo Pump takes only 1,6 Mb on your hard disk. For quick
view of the loaded pages you may use any available browser. For work DISCo Pump
does not need any browser at all.
