Installing Socrat CE:
Before installing be sure that you have 5 Mb free storage space in pocket PC.
On Contron panel choose System, then Memory and set the slider
Storage memory to be about 5Mb. Press OK and begin installation. After installation
the slider may be returned back. 5 Mb storage space is necessary for installation only
rather than for the work of translator. It is recommended to install Socrat CE just after
installation of the russifier RusCE of Paragon.
The installation consists of 3 components such as:
- Arsenal Company Socrat CE
- Arsenal Company Socrat CE Dictionaries
- Arsenal Company Socrat CE Kernel
The translator needs the whole set to be installed.
Installing Socrat CE with Flash-card:
By default the program installs in the main memory, though you can install Socrat CE
on the Flash-card. After starting the Application Manager answer "No" to
the question "Install Arsenal Company Socrat CE using the default application
install directory?". In Select Destination Media dialog click Save In,
select Flash Card (be sure that there is enough space their). If Flash-card is not
inserted, you will not see the above dialog.
Additional possibilities to save base memory:
Using Flash-card you can release additionally about 600 Kb of the main storage space. Move
SlEnRuCE.dll from \Windows folder to the root Flash-card ("\Storage Card")
folder with the help of host PC explorer.
